PRICING INFO

• A non-refundable retainer is due to secure your session with AimyLouise Photography. This also holds your date. Please note that I cannot hold your slot without the retainer and dates can be snapped up quickly. Proof of payment is required. The remainder is due on the day of the shoot.

• I photograph in Ballito, if you wish to have a photoshoot outside of these area, there will be an added travel fee of R500 per 30 minutes travel and R5.50/km roundtrip.

• Note that lifestyle photoshoots are done during a weekday (Tuesdays to Thursdays). Weekends are not an option.

• An additional fee of 15% for cancellation will be billed if you cancel our shoot within 2 WEEKS of the shoot date.

• If weather permits – rain or severe winds – we will have to reschedule to another available date or time. The retainer is non-refundable if the weather permits, the photoshoot will be postponed to the next available date for the CLIENT and AimyLouise Photography. If you are not from the area, you will receive a voucher to use when you are next in Ballito or to gift to a loved one.

• The Client should aim to be at the photoshoot 10 minutes before the meeting time – please take into consideration the travel time, parking and getting ready.

• If the client is late, the shoot will end at the contracted ending time (1 hour after the supposed start time). AimyLouise Photography will not be held responsible for the CLIENT being late. The photoshoot is specifically booked for a certain time to cater for the quality of light – if the CLIENT is late, AimyLouise Photography is notresponsible for the poor quality of images due to the light being too bright or too dark which has a great impact on images.

• AimyLouise Photography cannot predict the weather, I use a few apps to try get the most accurate forecast but mother nature has a temperment of her own. On the rare occasion rain, severe winds or cloud cover will commence and this is out of my control. You might not get your desired look due to the weather change but I will try my best nevertheless. If it is to rain or sever winds (holding thumbs it won’t) we will

postpone the date to the next available date for the CLIENT and AimyLouise

Photography.

• AimyLouise Photography is not responsible for the temperament of the children. I

have a teaching degree (foundation phase) and I have had loads of experience with

kids (as well as 2 of my own little cutey patuteys!). I know they have their own ways

and moods. I will work around them and how they are feeling and I cannot guarantee

their cooperation.

• You will only receive the amount of edited images specified – in colour and in black

and white. This can take between 4+weeks depending on lighting on the day and

time of the year. You will receive these images via an online gallery which is valid for

6 months. The CLIENT is responsible to have multiple backups of the gallery.

• Family shoots are immediate family only, there is an added cost per extra person –

grandparents, aunties/uncles, cousins etc. I also have a package curated for a LARGE

family, please enquire if your photoshoot consists of additional members outside of

you, your partner and kids.

• I am a lifestyle photographer – I capture documentary images. This also means that I

do not alter body shape, backgrounds, and/or create false lighting conditions (sunset

skies etc.). Skin (pimples) and background distractions (people, litter, bags etc.) can be

cleaned up to an extent, any further alterations will need to be taken through a third

party editor.• There will be no outfit changes unless stated in your package/contract. An added fee

of R500 will be invoiced if there is an outfit change due to the time addition as well as

extra photographs that will be taken for obvious reasons.

• I do not supply outfits for the photoshoot – please bear in mind that the outfit choice

is very important for the overall look of the images – we will go over this in your

session guide.

• I only photograph in the late afternoon, sunrise or overcast light – it is the softest and

creates the best quality photographs. Times will differ through the seasons as well as

the weather on the day of the shoot will have an impact on the time.

• I do not use any props – If you would like to incorporate in your shoot, you are more

than welcome to bring them along.

• COVID-19 lockdown regulations – the retainer is non-refundable. If we are unable to

participate in your photoshoot due to lockdown regulations and travel restrictions, we

will postpone the photoshoot to the next available date.

• You have hired me based on my artistic talent and skills. The final post production

and editing styles, effects, and overall look of the images are left to the discretion of

AimyLouise Photography.

• Once the gallery has been handed over to the CLIENT, the full amount paid is non-

refundable

It is definitely recommended, not only will you have awesome photos for your wedding day and 'Save the Date' but it gets you and your Fiance' comfortable in front of the camera together and you get a feel for how I work before your big day.

WEDDING T'S & C'S

PLEASE READ THROUGH THOROUGHLY BEFORE BOOKING


Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your wedding date. No date is booked without proof of payment.
  • Dates are booked on a first-paid, first-served basis and may become unavailable at any time.
  • The remainder of the balance is due no later than 1 month before the wedding day.
  • EFTs should be completed at least 3 working days before the payment deadline to ensure time for processing.
  • Failure to pay on time may result in added interest per each late day.


Travel & Accommodation

  • Travel is charged at R5.50/km roundtrip from Ballito and is not included in your package.
  • If the venue is over 70km from Ballito:
  • Accommodation must be arranged and paid for by the client.
  • AimyLouise Photography will book and bill for this accommodation.
  • Accommodation requirements:
  • Minimum 3-star rating (BNB or self-catering unit)
  • Must include a bed and shower
  • Must be clean, private, and safe
  • Must be within 20km of the venue or on the wedding premises.
  • If accommodation is not arranged, a travel assistant will be required for safety and will be billed to the client.


Cancellation & Postponement

  • If you cancel within 3 months of your wedding date, a 15% cancellation fee (of the total invoice) will be charged in addition to the non-refundable retainer.
  • Postponements incur a R5,000 fee.
  • If AimyLouise Photography is unavailable for the new date, the cancellation policy applies.
  • If AimyLouise Photography is unable to attend due to an emergency:
  • A qualified replacement photographer will be arranged.
  • Your retainer will be refunded or transferred to the new photographer.
  • If you cancel at any time, the retainer remains non-refundable.
  • All cancellations or postponements must be made in writing via email.


Coverage & Additional Hours

  • Your package includes a specified number of hours.
  • Additional hours:
  • R2,600/hour if booked before the wedding day
  • R3,200/hour if added on the day
  • Each extra hour includes 30+ additional edited images
  • Any time spent travelling between venues on the day will count toward your booked hours.
  • A travel fee may also apply depending on location.


Editing, Style & Deliverables

  • You will receive the specified number of edited images in your package.
  • Images are delivered via an online gallery within approximately 12 weeks.
  • No RAW or unedited images are given under any circumstances.
  • AimyLouise Photography is a lifestyle/documentary photographer, capturing authentic, candid moments.
  • No body shape alterations will be made.
  • Skin and background distractions may be gently cleaned up.
  • Final editing style, tones, and artistic decisions are at the photographer's discretion.
  • Prints are not included unless specifically stated in your package.


Albums (if included)

  • Albums will be designed after the full gallery is delivered.
  • You will select 50 favourites for the album design.
  • Design may take approximately 3 weeks, with printing taking up to 8 weeks.


Engagement Shoot (if included)

  • Only available on weekdays (Tues–Thurs) in Ballito.
  • Best times: sunrise or sunset, but artistic results can be achieved at other times.
  • If you can't make it before your wedding, you’ll receive a voucher to use later (weekdays only).
  • No refunds or discounts will be given if the shoot is unused.


Team & Backup

  • I work alone – no assistant, second shooter, or videographer included.
  • In case of emergency, I have trained photographers on standby to shoot in my place under the AimyLouise Photography brand.


Props

  • I do not provide props for any shoots.


Meetings

  • All pre-wedding meetings take place in Ballito.
  • If you require a meeting elsewhere, travel costs of R5.50/km roundtrip will be charged.
  • otherwise a video call will also suffice.


COVID-19 Policy

  • If your wedding is postponed due to a government-mandated lockdown that prohibits weddings entirely, I will reschedule at no extra charge.
  • If I am unavailable for your new date, you’ll receive a credit voucher to use for:
  • Family, couple, anniversary, or newborn sessions
  • Up to the value of the amount already paid


Food

  • A meal and beverage must be provided at dinner time and ensure there is enough time to prep for upcoming moments.
  • During the main meal, I do not photograph guests while eating, until plates are cleared.
  • No photos of plated or buffet meals unless:
  • The caterer sets a plate aside and informs me.
  • I may photograph canapés or snack platings if time allows.


Image Use & Marketing

  • AimyLouise Photography reserves the right to use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and competition use. If you’d prefer to keep your images private, please notify me in writing before the wedding day.


After Booking

Once your booking is confirmed:

  • You’ll receive a contract, questionnaire, and a Wedding Welcome Guide packed with useful planning tips and advice.

Before your wedding date, you will receive:

  • A reminder for the remaining balance (if not yet paid)
  • A wedding day questionnaire to fill in once you have all your details ready.
  • A Bride Prep Guide and Groom Prep Guide to help you prepare for the morning and day.
