WEDDING T'S & C'S

PLEASE READ THROUGH THOROUGHLY BEFORE BOOKING

Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your wedding date. No date is booked without proof of payment.
• Dates are booked on a first-paid, first-served basis and may become unavailable at any time.
• The remainder of the balance is due no later than 1 month before the wedding day.
• EFTs should be completed at least 3 working days before the payment deadline to ensure time for processing.
• Failure to pay on time may result in added interest per each late day.

Travel & Accommodation

• Travel is charged at R5.50/km roundtrip from Ballito and is not included in your package.
• If the venue is over 70km from Ballito:
• Accommodation must be arranged and paid for by the client.
• AimyLouise Photography will book and bill for this accommodation.
• Accommodation requirements:
• Minimum 3-star rating (BNB or self-catering unit)
• Must include a bed and shower
• Must be clean, private, and safe
• Must be within 20km of the venue or on the wedding premises.
• If accommodation is not arranged, a travel assistant will be required for safety and will be billed to the client.

Cancellation & Postponement

• If you cancel within 3 months of your wedding date, a 15% cancellation fee (of the total invoice) will be charged in addition to the non-refundable retainer.
• Postponements incur a R5,000 fee.
• If AimyLouise Photography is unavailable for the new date, the cancellation policy applies.
• If AimyLouise Photography is unable to attend due to an emergency:
• A qualified replacement photographer will be arranged.
• Your retainer will be refunded or transferred to the new photographer.
• If you cancel at any time, the retainer remains non-refundable.
• All cancellations or postponements must be made in writing via email.

Coverage & Additional Hours

• Your package includes a specified number of hours.
• Additional hours:
• R2,600/hour if booked before the wedding day
• R3,200/hour if added on the day
• Each extra hour includes 30+ additional edited images
• Any time spent travelling between venues on the day will count toward your booked hours.
• A travel fee may also apply depending on location.

Editing, Style & Deliverables

• You will receive the specified number of edited images in your package.
• Images are delivered via an online gallery within approximately 12 weeks.
• No RAW or unedited images are given under any circumstances.
• AimyLouise Photography is a lifestyle/documentary photographer, capturing authentic, candid moments.
• No body shape alterations will be made.
• Skin and background distractions may be gently cleaned up.
• Final editing style, tones, and artistic decisions are at the photographer's discretion.
• Prints are not included unless specifically stated in your package.

Albums (if included)

• Albums will be designed after the full gallery is delivered.
• You will select 50 favourites for the album design.
• Design may take approximately 3 weeks, with printing taking up to 8 weeks.

Engagement Shoot (if included)

• Only available on weekdays (Tues–Thurs) in Ballito.
• Best times: sunrise or sunset, but artistic results can be achieved at other times.
• If you can't make it before your wedding, you’ll receive a voucher to use later (weekdays only).
• No refunds or discounts will be given if the shoot is unused.

Team & Backup

• I work alone – no assistant, second shooter, or videographer included.
• In case of emergency, I have trained photographers on standby to shoot in my place under the AimyLouise Photography brand.

Props

• I do not provide props for any shoots.

Meetings

• All pre-wedding meetings take place in Ballito.
• If you require a meeting elsewhere, travel costs of R5.50/km roundtrip will be charged.
• otherwise a video call will also suffice.

COVID-19 Policy

• If your wedding is postponed due to a government-mandated lockdown that prohibits weddings entirely, I will reschedule at no extra charge.
• If I am unavailable for your new date, you’ll receive a credit voucher to use for:
• Family, couple, anniversary, or newborn sessions
• Up to the value of the amount already paid

Food

• A meal and beverage must be provided at dinner time and ensure there is enough time to prep for upcoming moments.
• During the main meal, I do not photograph guests while eating, until plates are cleared.
• No photos of plated or buffet meals unless:
• The caterer sets a plate aside and informs me.
• I may photograph canapés or snack platings if time allows.

Image Use & Marketing

• AimyLouise Photography reserves the right to use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and competition use. If you’d prefer to keep your images private, please notify me in writing before the wedding day.

After Booking

Once your booking is confirmed:

• You’ll receive a contract, questionnaire, and a Wedding Welcome Guide packed with useful planning tips and advice.

Before your wedding date, you will receive:

• A reminder for the remaining balance (if not yet paid)
• A wedding day questionnaire to fill in once you have all your details ready.
• A Bride Prep Guide and Groom Prep Guide to help you prepare for the morning and day.

By booking, you agree to our terms and conditions. You also allow selected images to be shared online and in portfolio use, unless otherwise requested.
